There are dishes for sharing and this is NOT one of those dishes. I specifically ordered my own plate of this killer goodness. The plating was very straight forward when it was laid in front of me but the simplicity of the aesthetics did not understate the taste. I didn’t bother to grab my knife but used my ever reliable spoon and fork instead. I sliced a big chunk, combined it with a little bagoong (shrimp paste) rice and drenched it with the kare-kare sauce. I finished the whole platter in less than five minutes.
How can you not return to the place that allows you to reminisce the time you had Ilocos bagnet and pair it with one of your all-time favorite Filipino dishes Kare-kare?
